Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation staff is dedicated to providing you with the best service possible and making your visits pleasant and comfortable. We are a diverse group with field-related training and skills.
Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation Center has been in operation for over 20 years, and since 2010 has been run by Adam I. Cohen, DPT. At the center, we provide hands-on, one on one care using new state-of-the-art equipment. Dr. Cohen is well-established in the Queens community and has helped thousands find relief and live pain-free lives. We see a range of patients from acute trauma rehabilitation, stemming from automobile accidents (no-fault cases), on-job injuries (Workman’s Compensation cases), and Slip and Fall (liability cases). We have state-of-the-art equipment and personnel to handle all cases of trauma.

Doctor of Physical Therapy
Adam I. Cohen DPT
Dr. Adam I. Cohen, DPT, received his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Touro College in 2006 and is also certified in balance and fall assessment training.
Dr. Adam I. Cohen is a clinical instructor for CUNY LaGuardia Community College Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program and is currently on their advisory board. Dr. Cohen is also a clinical instructor for the Touro College Physical Therapy (DPT) program and the CUNY Downstate University.
Physical Therapist
Meriam graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at Iligan Medical Center College in the Philippines. She is a licensed Physical Therapist in New York State, Indiana, and the Philippines. She has been working in the United States as a Physical Therapist for more than 12 years.
Physical Therapy Assistant
Jingkie Abuyuan
Assists the Physical Therapists in helping patients who are recovering from injuries manage pain and regain their mobility.
Masters of Physcial Therapy
Debra Kochman MPT
Specializes in Pediatric Physical Therapy and helps patients with injuries and chronic health conditions regain their range of motion, manage their pain, and improve their quality of life.
